MCP for disciplined security tooling

An agent does not replace the operator. It gives a controlled interface to tools.

MCP only works when a tool is a contract: input, output, permissions, log. Wiring a model to an unconstrained shell is not automation — it is moving chaos into chat.

In the HexStrike layer the priority is discipline: which tools are available, in which context, with which observability. The agent accelerates the operator; it does not invent trust rules.

Rule: threat-model the AI workflow first, then integrate. Otherwise you scale mistakes faster than results.
